our story

a recipe four generations old

dáo began in 2018, when three siblings opened a single shop in SS15 Subang Jaya. What they served was a fourth-generation family recipe, first made by the late Mr. Lau Cheong (1908–1990). 16 outlets later it is still that recipe, still made fresh every morning. Familiar flavours, made the way they have always been made.
