Shipping policy

Order Processing Time

All orders placed with DAO Desserts are processed within 1 to 3 business days after payment confirmation, excluding weekends and public holidays. Orders placed after 5:00 PM, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Delivery Coverage

DAO Desserts currently delivers within Malaysia only. Delivery availability may vary depending on the customer’s location, courier service coverage, and logistical limitations, and we reserve the right to reject orders to areas deemed inaccessible by our delivery partners.

Delivery Timeframe

Estimated delivery time within Peninsular Malaysia is 2 to 5 business days, while deliveries to East Malaysia may take 5 to 10 business days, depending on courier performance, weather conditions, and unforeseen logistical delays beyond our control.

Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address, package weight, and courier rates. All shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases where a confirmed delivery error is caused by DAO Desserts.

Courier Services

DAO Desserts utilises third-party courier services for all deliveries, and once an order is dispatched, delivery responsibility lies with the courier. Tracking information will be provided once the parcel has been handed over for shipment.

Incorrect Address & Failed Delivery

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that all delivery details provided at checkout are accurate and complete. DAO Desserts will not be liable for delays, losses, or additional charges resulting from incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, or unclaimed parcels.

Damaged Parcels During Transit

If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, customers must report the issue within 24 hours of delivery by emailing dao.desserts@gmail.com with their order number and clear photo or video evidence, after which DAO Desserts will assess the matter and determine whether replacement or compensation is appropriate.

Once your order has been shipped, a tracking number will be provided via email or SMS. Customers may contact us at dao.desserts@gmail.com for delivery-related enquiries, and we will assist in following up with the courier where necessary.
